Founded in 1993 in Dundonald, Northern Ireland, MIS (Motorists Insurance Services Ltd) originally focused on providing legal expenses and claims management services for insurance brokers across Northern Ireland. Over the past 30 years, we have grown and diversified, becoming a group of companies that includes MIS Claims, MIS Underwriting, MIS Legal Services Ltd, and Independent Car Hire Ltd. Our offices span three different jurisdictions with offices in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and mainland UK. We hold regulatory approval in all three jurisdictions.

Throughout our history, MIS has managed over 370,000 motor claims and continues to provide expert claims handling for leading insurance brokers and companies in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We also collaborate with a network of trusted body shops, repairers, and car dealerships to extend our services directly to their clients.
