About Us

MIS Group consists of MIS Claims, MIS Breakdown and MIS Underwriting. MIS was established in 1993 as Motorist Insurance Services Limited primarily for the provision of legal expenses and accident management services for non-fault motorists in Northern Ireland. Since 1993, the company has evolved and expanded and now has 65 staff members across our various departments and offices in Dundonald, Manchester and most recently Dundalk, Ireland.

Over the past 30 years, MIS have handled over 370,000 motor claims and continue to handle the claims for a number of leading insurance brokers and insurance companies in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. As well as insurance brokers and insurance companies, we also work with a number of body shops, repairers and car dealerships to extend our services to their clients. 

In addition to this, MIS Breakdown provide breakdown recovery services for clients in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and after obtaining a large book of business in 2020, we are now one of the leading breakdown recovery and legal expenses providers in the Republic of Ireland. MIS Underwriting, based in Dundalk, Ireland, specialises in the provision of quality insurance products at competitive prices to the Irish insurance market and continue to expand into various types of commercial policies.
