About Us

MIS (Motorists Insurance Services Ltd) was established in Dundonald, Northern Ireland in 1993 primarily for the provision of legal expenses and accident management services for non-fault motorists in Northern Ireland. Over the past 30 years, the company has evolved and expanded and we are proud to have multiple companies within the group including MIS Claims, MIS Underwriting, MIS Legal Services Ltd and Independent Car Hire Ltd with offices across the UK & Ireland.

Over the past 30 years, MIS have handled over 370,000 motor claims and continue to handle the claims for a number of leading insurance brokers and insurance companies in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. As well as insurance brokers and insurance companies, we also work with a number of body shops, repairers and car dealerships to extend our services to their clients. We can help any one who has been involved in a non-fault accident.

In addition to our claims services, MIS also provide breakdown recovery services and legal expenses insurance for clients in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and after obtaining a large book of business in 2020, we are now one of the leading breakdown recovery and legal expenses providers in the Republic of Ireland.
